It’s straightforward to set up. You don't need to run a video cable inside from your bird box, however you will need to connect it to power. Simply connect the camera to your mains with a power cable (a 3m cable is included) and connect the receiver to your TV. The wireless transmitter communicates with your camera to feed the footage straight from your bird box to your television.
